The 2012 Mac Miller-headlined Macadelic Tour ended in early May but we can still experience it today. The fourth installment of The Cool Kids' On The Road video series is now out and Chuck and Mikey will walk you through some touring tips and what it's like to live on a tour bus. Green Label Sound is proud to announce the release of our next official single, "Hollywood (featuring Penguin Prison)," by Portland-based producer/DJ, RAC. This dancey pop track is the very first original music from this seasoned remixer and will be available for free download on May 3rd. As usual, we'll also be following it up with a couple of remixes by some of the best DJs around.
Green Label Sound approached Andre Anjos (RAC) about working together and he was ready, “the thing that really sold me was the reputation, you know, with the other songs they’ve already done. People that I really like have released music on this label, so I’m very proud to be part of that.” He immediately brought in Penguin Prison to work on the track: “It was such an obvious choice… We like the same things, same chords, same sounds.”
Next Thursday, keep your eyes out for upcoming video footage of Andre discussing and producing the track!

This year in Austin, TX, the Green Label Sound Official SXSW Showcase hosted a stellar roster of dance and hip hop acts who are all a part of the Green Label Sound family. Juicy J, Mac Miller, RAC, Star Slinger and Flosstradamus all performed for a packed out crowd at Club Deville. To top it off, Wiz Khalifa and the Taylor Gang made a surprise appearance during Juicy J's set and stormed the stage to back him up! World famous skateboarders Paul Rodriguez, Theotis Beasley and the entire MTN DEW skate team partied it up alongside A-Trak, Chuck and Mikey of The Cool Kids, and Chris Glover of Penguin Prison. Star Slinger’s very first single, “Dumbin’ feat. Reggie B”, now has an official video. Produced by UK production house Clockwise Media, the video chronicles the story of a couple stressed by the trials of long distance. The producers also created an alternate ending of the story but using Diplo’s remix of the track. Check them both out below.
